You will need one logger and one gateway.
The logger lives in the fridge. It records the temperatures and broadcasts the readings using Bluetooth.
The gateway is placed outside the fridge and connected to both power and internet. It receives the readings from the logger and saves them to the internet every few minutes.
We sell the logger and gateway together as a kit, to make ordering easier.
The gateway is the same in each kit but there are two loggers options available.
This is, most likely, the ideal kit for you if you are monitoring a single fridge. The logger has a built-in temperature sensor that measures the air temperature in the fridge with an accuracy of ~0.25°F.
This logger in the Premium kit has its temperature sensor on the end of a probe wire. The probe is placed into the leakproof glycol vial to better mimic the temperatures experienced by liquid vaccines.
You will need a logger for each fridge and at least one gateway.
Gateways can talk to multiple loggers at once, but they must be within range.
If your fridges are all in the same room, then a single gateway should be fine.
If they are in adjacent rooms, a single gateway may still work, depending on factors such as distance and what the walls are made out of.
If they are further apart than that, you will probably need multiple gateways.
There are two options available.
The standard logger has its temperature sensor built-in. It accurately measures the air temperature in the fridge.
This set contains the premium logger (with the temperature probe) and a leakproof vial of glycol. This setup closely mimics the temperatures experienced by liquid vaccines.
Also available as Logger only
